During the fall edition of NL-JUG's bi-yearly conference on Java architecture and software development, Xebia hosted Scala hands-on Labs in Foyer 3 and gave five technical poster presentations. The workstations of the Scala Hands-on Labs were fully booked all day and we received a lot of visitors and enthusiasts in Foyer 3.
During th
e Scala Labs, attendees experienced the strength of the Scala language hands-on. Wether they were beginners, or had already taken their first Scala steps, they found what they were looking for as Xebia's experts had developed Labs with different levels. There were workstations available, but attendees also brought their own laptops.
Have you missed the Scala Labs at J-Fall, or would you like to learn more about Scala? Then come to one of the Scala Hands-on Labs on tour. For more information and registration, go to www.xebia.com/scalalabs.
Xebia also launched the Scala Community Site during the J-Fall: www.scala-labs.org. Please visit this site to find information or experiment with the Scala language.
The poster presentations showcased the newest technologies and methodologies Xebia uses at its customers. Xebia experts were present to share Xebia's vision on software development and new technologies and also to talk to the visitors and answer questions they had. You can download the posterpresentations at our Knowledge Base.
